The interpreter will handle face-to-face and phone interpreting, translate physician correspondence and health materials, and coordinate interpreter services while representing the hospice in a supportive and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and foreign language(s) at a superior level.
• High level of customer service and a positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide Spanish interpretation and translation for patients, families, and staff.
• Provide face-to-face and phone interpreting in a timely and accurate manner.
• Translate physician correspondence and health education materials.
• Assist with coordination of interpreter services and community events.
• Maintain and update interpreter-related information in the database.
