Job summary

Bay Crossing Family Medicine in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and front-desk operations. A bilingual Spanish speaker is preferred; the role requires rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting clinicians during exams.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Pursuing medical or PA school.
• Computer proficiency with EMR; familiar with HIPAA & OSHA guidelines (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Room patient, take vitals, prepare patient for exam with clinician.
• Convey patient concerns concisely to clinician and coordinate with the team.
• Vaccine preparation and administration; maintain temperature logs and inventory.
• Cover front desk/reception as needed; assist with scheduling and patient flow.
• Triage calls for clinicians and assist with lab, pharmacy, or specialist coordination.
