Job summary

AB Facility Services seeks an experienced District Manager to oversee multiple commercial janitorial accounts in the Washington, DC metro area, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee engagement.

You will lead Area Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors, and frontline staff, driving service improvements and growth while maintaining safety and compliance. Fluency in Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent operational leadership experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in commercial janitorial services.
• Experience managing multiple facilities and large employee populations.
• Strong knowledge of labor planning, scheduling, staffing, and operational budgeting.
• Experience managing union and non-union workforces is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead remote field management teams.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management software.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple commercial janitorial accounts in the district.
• Ensure locations meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Conduct routine site visits, inspections, and audits.
• Develop action plans to improve service quality and satisfaction.
• Lead account start-ups, transitions, and service expansions.
