Job summary

Lighthouse of Hope LLC is seeking a Direct Care Provider to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through hands-on support and supervision. You will help with daily living tasks, follow personalized plans, and monitor health and behavior to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Role requires English fluency, a HS diploma or GED, and a Level II background check, with full-time shifts that may include weekends. Spanish-speaking ability is required to communicate with the client’s family.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Must speak, write, and read English.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting, or with developmental disability.
• Alternate: 30 semester hours, 45 quarter-hours, or 720 classroom hours of college or vocational school.
• A Level II Background Check is required.
• Staff must complete online and in-person training to become certified as a Direct Care Provider.
• Spanish speaker is required to communicate with the client’s family.
• This is a Full-Time position with rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Assist with activities of daily living and monitor health and behavior.
• Implement personalized support plans and maintain meticulous records.
• Uphold clients’ rights and confidentiality; encourage development in self-care, socialization, and community involvement.
