Job summary

Visiting Angels Missouri City is seeking a Bilingual Caregiver who speaks Spanish to support seniors in the Houston area. This on-site role focuses on compassionate home care, mobility assistance, and companionship.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of caregiver experience, a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and authorization to work in the United States. We offer training and opportunities to grow in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Reliable personal vehicle with current, active auto insurance.
• Willingness and ability to transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
