Job summary

BK Behavior is seeking caring individuals to provide one-on-one ABA services to children with Autism in clients' homes or community settings. You’ll implement skill-building plans under supervision and help families engage with treatment strategies.

No prior experience required, paid training is provided, and roles start part-time with flexible hours to fit education or other commitments. This is an entry point into ABA and psychology-related work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Need to Knows Services will be provided in clients' homes or in the community based locations.
• All positions start off part time.
• Required to take the 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Minimum 6 month commitment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one on one ABA services to clients using evidence based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team responsible for the direct implementation of skill building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
