Job summary

ContactLink Solutions LLC seeks a skilled Spanish-English interpreter for a fully remote role. You will facilitate real-time interpretation between Spanish and English speakers, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a professional setting.

As a remote interpreter, you will process information quickly, utilize industry terminology (notably healthcare), and participate in internal training. The position is full-time contractor with immediate start and monthly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Latin America.
• Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter's code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency inEnglish and Spanish
• Based in Latin America
• Minimum1 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac
