Job summary

Mindlink Resources, LLC is seeking Spanish simultaneous interpreters for a Seattle conference taking place October 21–23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Interpreters must bring their own equipment and be willing to work in-person in the Seattle area. Beyond this project, Mindlink offers ongoing opportunities to support multilingual students, families, and staff across Educational/Local Gov/Other Non-Profit Clients in Vancouver WA and Portland OR, with onsite interpretation and remote video

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional interpreting experience.
• Experience with simultaneous interpretation in a large group setting.
• Native-level fluency in Spanish.
• Completion of an accredited interpreter training program.
• Certification from CCHI, NBCMI, RID, NAJIT, or Oregon State Court Interpretation.
• Experience in K-12 educational settings, especially with IEPs and special education services.
• Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation at the Seattle conference (Oct 21–23, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day).
• Support ongoing multilingual interpretation work for Educational/Local Gov/Non-Profit clients in Vancouver WA and Portland OR, onsite and via remote video interpretation.
• Occasionally perform consecutive interpretation with some simultaneous interpretation as needed.

Mindlink is looking for Spanish simultaneous interpreters for a conference taking place in Seattle on October 21st-23rd from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. each day. The interpreters must bring their own equipment. Only candidates able to work in-person in the Seattle area will be considered for this event!

In addition to this specific project, we also have ongoing opportunities to support multilingual students, families, and staff across Educational/Local Gov/Other Non-Profit Clients in the Vancouver WA and Portland OR area. This role includes both onsite interpretation at client sites and remote video interpretation for virtual meetings and assessments (mostly consecutive but some are simultaneous).

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of professional interpreting experience.


• Experience with simultaneous interpretation in a large group setting.


• Native-level fluency in Spanish.

Preferred:

• Completion of an accredited interpreter training program.
