MindLink Resources LLC is seeking an on-site Spanish-English interpreter to join our team in the Portland Metro Area. This role bridges language barriers in real time, ensuring clear and accurate communication for every individual we serve.

Responsibilities include real-time interpretation in on-site settings, maintaining neutrality and confidentiality, and preparing for assignments by reviewing terminology and materials. Travel to various on-site locations around Portland/Vancouver is expected.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation in professional or specialized settings.
• Knowledge of medical, legal, or business terminology preferred.
• Certification from a recognized interpreting organization is a plus.

• Support communication in professional environments such as meetings, hearings, medical appointments, or legal proceedings
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant terminology, subject matter, and materials in advance
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to interpreter ethics and standards at all times
• Collaborate with clients and staff to ensure smooth and effective communication flow
• Document and report any interpretation challenges or concerns as needed

Requirements:

• Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation in professional or specialized settings
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (medical, legal, or business preferred)
• Certification from a recognized interpreting organization (e.g., ATA, CCHI, RID) is a plus
• Strong active listening, memory retention, and multitasking skills
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and neutrality
• Ability to travel to various on-site locations in and around the Portland/Vancouver area
• Experience using interpreting headsets.
