Job summary

Propio Language Services seeks Spanish–English interpreters for on-site work in the Worthington, MN area. Successful candidates will provide consecutive interpretation, support remote assignments when needed, and follow strict confidentiality and ethics guidelines.

Applicants should have professional interpreting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant interpreter training or certifications.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client requirements relating to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and data protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, etc.).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain language proficiency, terminology, and subject-matter knowledge for accurate assignments.
