Job Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services to facilitate communication between LEP individuals and healthcare providers.
• Perform sight translations of documents as needed.
• Adhere to interpreter standards and ethics.
• Educate individuals and staff on cultural values relevant to interactions.
• Relay concepts accurately between languages.
• Understand the subject matter thoroughly to ensure accurate interpretation.
• Remain sensitive to cultural differences.
