Job summary

Douglas County School District seeks a Foreign Language - Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year at Ranch View Middle School. The position supports student learning through planned instruction, assessment, and technology integration.

The teacher will manage student behavior, collaborate with staff, and participate in meetings, with a 40-hour week across 185 work days and a 1.0 FTE commitment. A Bachelor's degree and Colorado teaching license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Colorado Teaching License required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning and establish clear objectives.
• Manage student behavior by enforcing rules and procedures and apply disciplinary measures as needed.
• Utilize technology to provide learning materials and monitor student progress.
• Support school activities, attend meetings, and help with extracurricular activities and counseling as needed.
• Plan and implement instructional programs and maintain student progress records.
