Job summary

Saint John’s High School seeks a full-time or part-time Spanish teacher for Grades 7–12 with a strong subject background and pedagogical skills. The role includes teaching other World Languages or disciplines and collaborating with faculty to support boys’ learning.

The ideal candidate will implement curricula, design assessments, and use data to inform instruction, while fostering cultural understanding and global awareness in students. Extracurricular involvement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Spanish Language or related field.
• Experience teaching at middle or high school level or relevant professional experience.
• Fluency with Spanish language and current pedagogy.
• Dedication to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula for World Language classes and assess student progress.
• Design assessments to measure student achievement and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, and staff to enhance learning.
• Contribute to school community through extracurricular activities such as coaching, directing clubs, or supervising activities.
