Job summary

Durango School District 9-R is seeking a Spanish Language & Culture Enrichment Facilitator at Park Elementary School in Durango, CO. This 0.70 FTE role (28 hours/week) begins immediately and includes full benefits.

The position supports Spanish language and cultural instruction for the 2026/2027 school year. Starting as soon as possible, with a $1,260 signing bonus pro-rated for late start and potential workforce housing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Colorado Substitute Authorization required.
• Ability to connect language and culture in lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and assessment for supplemental enrichment lessons in Spanish and culture.
• Assist the licensed teacher in supervising students during enrichment lessons.
• Adapt enrichment lessons to meet individual learning needs of all students.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and collaborate with school staff.
