Job summary

Durango School District is seeking a Spanish Language & Culture Enrichment Facilitator for Park Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is 0.7 FTE with full benefits, and starts August 17, 2026. A $1,260 one-time bonus is included for the 26/27 school year (pro‑rated for late start).

The facilitator will plan instruction and assessment, assist the licensed teacher, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Colorado Substitute Authorization required; strength in Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize effective teaching strategies to teach supplemental enrichment lessons in Spanish language and culture.
• Work with the licensed teacher to modify and tailor the enrichment lessons to meet individual student needs.
• Implement enrichment lessons that connect Spanish language to its cultural contexts.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and safety.
• Follow district policies and procedures.
