Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Spanish interpreters to serve the Nashville, TN area. Interpreters join LSA’s network as Independently Contracted Interpreters to facilitate communication for LEP communities across diverse settings.

Qualified candidates will be bilingual in English and Spanish, provide excellent client service, and may have 1+ year of interpreting experience. Certifications such as CMI or CCHI are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Spanish.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
