Job summary

Kreato Global is seeking experienced English-Spanish interpreters based in Latin America to join our remote team for OPI and VRI interpretation roles starting in October 2026.

As an interpreter, you will facilitate clear communication between English- and Spanish-speaking individuals across medical, social service, customer care, and financial settings, using consecutive interpretation techniques with professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least six months of verifiable remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation.
• Advanced English fluency (C1) with strong spoken and written skills.
• Native or native-level Spanish fluency.
• Ability to deliver accurate, complete consecutive interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology.
• Understanding of patient privacy and HIPAA requirements.
• Reliable with good attendance and adherence to schedules.
• Ability to work remotely in a quiet, professional environment with wired internet.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced English-Spanish interpreters based in Latin America to join our remote team in a blended Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) role starting in October 2026.

As an interpreter, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking individuals across medical, social service, customer care, and financial settings. You will use consecutive interpretation techniques to ensure that all parties understand one another while maintaining professionalism, impartiality, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Important: A minimum of six months of verifiable professional experience in remote OPI and/or VRI interpretation is mandatory. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

Key Qualifications

• Required Experience: At least six months of verifiable professional experience providing remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation.
• English Proficiency: Advanced English fluency at a minimum C1 level, with strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Spanish Proficiency: Native or native-level Spanish fluency, with excellent comprehension and active listening skills.
• Interpretation Skills: Ability to deliver accurate, complete, impartial, and professional consecutive interpretation.
• Specialized Terminology: Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology.
• Confidentiality and Compliance: Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA-related requirements.
• Professionalism: Excellent attention to detail, active listening, emotional composure, and the ability to remain neutral in sensitive situations.
• Reliability: Commitment to attendance, schedule adherence, quality standards, and established operating procedures.
• Remote Work Readiness: Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment with a reliable wired internet connection.

Technical Requirements

All candidates must meet the following technical requirements to be eligible for onboarding.

Internet Connection

• A stable, reliable internet connection.
• An Ethernet cable connected directly to the router or modem.
• Wi‑Fi is not permitted.

Only approved, client‑compatible USB headsets are accepted. Bluetooth headsets, mono headsets, and built‑in microphones are not permitted.
