Madera Community College at Oakhurst seeks a Spanish Instructor to join a part-time faculty pool, teaching courses at the Oakhurst campus and other locations as needed. Experience with diverse student populations and flexible teaching modalities (face-to-face, online, hybrid) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse backgrounds and equity-minded practice.
• Master’s in Spanish.
• Bachelor’s in Spanish and Master’s in another language or linguistics.
• A valid California Community College Credential, or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish courses part-time as assigned.
• Deliver instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain course outlines, syllabi, and student records.
• Evaluate student progress through tests and assignments.
• Fulfills duties per Administrative Regulation 7122 and other duties as assigned.
