Job Description

Moorhead Area Public Schools – ISD 152 seeks Spanish Immersion Teachers in Moorhead, MN. Multiple Openings.

Duties include:

• Provide Spanish language instruction at elementary school level
• Review and develop Spanish language curriculum
• Create Spanish language lesson plans
• Assess language education program needs and modifying instruction methods
• Prepare and maintain orderly classroom with emphasis on ensuring student safety
• Maintain regular hours for parent communication, hold parent-teacher conferences, and prepare written reports on student development
• Participate in school mentoring activities, serving on at least one school committee, supporting enrollment and development activities, and attending school events.

Position requires a Bachelor’s deg. in Education, Spanish, or a related field; position also requires fluency in Spanish and a valid MN teaching license for Elementary Education. Salary range: $48,938/yr to $95,797/yr DOE + benefits including medical, life, and disability insurance.
