The Caesar Rodney School District is seeking a full-time Spanish Immersion Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at Nellie H. Stokes Elementary School. This is a full-time, Elementary Spanish Immersion teaching position for the 2025-2026 School Year at Nellie H. Stokes Elementary School.
Individuals who are eligible or possess Spanish World Language or Bilingual Spanish teaching credentials are encouraged to apply. Applicants must also be eligible for certification in Elementary K-6 or Early Childhood Education Pre K-2. Those without Elementary K-6 certification must pass a PRAXIS II exam within two years. If you have not yet met all requirements, list your license as “pending”. Preference is given to candidates meeting ALL requirements.
Applicants must meet Delaware certification requirements for Teacher of Elementary K-6 or Early Childhood Pre K-2 and Teacher of Spanish. Successful candidates must provide evidence of passing PRAXIS II exams: Elementary test #5001 and Spanish test #5195. Delaware recognizes standard certificates from other states. For foreign degrees, see https://deeds/doe.k12.de.us under PUBLIC RESOURCES: Holders of Non U.S. Credentials. Degrees from foreign universities must be translated for equivalency before acceptance.
Applicants with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Those with 1-4 years of experience, with proof of a current out-of-state license, will also receive an Initial License.
