Spanish Immersion Teacher (Elementary) 2025-26

Position Details

  • Hours: May vary based on program needs
  • Reports to: Building Principal, immediate supervisor
  • Supervision: None
  • Salary: $49,141 - $90,362/year
Qualifications
  • Required: Fluent (native or near-native ability) in Spanish, proficiency in English, B.S. degree, current Minnesota Elementary K-6 teaching license (or eligibility)
  • Preferred: Teaching experience with grades K-6

Position Summary

Create a safe, caring climate to prepare, engage, educate, empower, and inspire learners in partnership with the community for success today and tomorrow.

Essential Duties
  1. Instructional Planning and Preparation: demonstrate content knowledge, select goals, design instruction, assess learning.
  2. Classroom Environment: establish respect, manage procedures, organize space.
  3. Instructional Interaction: communicate clearly, engage students, provide feedback, be flexible.
  4. Professional Responsibilities: reflect, maintain records, communicate, contribute, grow professionally, show professionalism.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
