Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned

• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district’s curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lessons accommodating different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency policies and regulations.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials suitable for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curriculum per IEPs.
• Coordinate with staff to establish goals and methods.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support students in improving study habits and achievement.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement.
