Qualifications

• Professional educator license in HS subject area.
• Bilingual with EL endorsement.
• Strong communication skills.
• Honors or AP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Spanish 2, Heritage Speakers, EL coordination, and study methods.
• Teach 5 classes plus prep and resource.
• Plan and deliver lessons with interactive technology.
• Grade assignments and maintain attendance.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during classroom hours.
• Meet with Department Chair regularly and seek mentoring.
• Maintain ethical and professional demeanor per district policies.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and/or school-sponsored professional development as needed.
• Assist in upholding school rules and Board policies.
• Maintain student confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
