SOUTH MAIN CLINIC INC in Texas is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to assess patients, order tests, and prescribe treatments in collaboration with physicians. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, a strong EHR skill set, and experience in outpatient care.

You will perform examinations, manage ongoing care plans, and coordinate with staff to ensure quality patient outcomes within clinic protocols. Fluent English/Spanish and Texas APRN licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited FNP program.
• Current FNP-C certification (ANCC or AANP) and valid Texas APRN licensure.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal) to serve diverse patient population.
• 1+ years of experience in family medicine (new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered).
• Proficiency in EHR systems and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Preferred: Experience with chronic disease management or procedural skills (e.g., point-of-care ultrasound).

• Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic procedures in accordance with relevant health concerns of the patient.


• Prescribes appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.


• Maintain records and write orders and progress notes in patient charts as to status, treatments, and procedures.


• Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records.


• Provide follow-up health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established with the supervising physician.


• Communicate with physicians, patients, and the family members of patients concerning patient care.


• Collaborates with providers and practice staff in identifying appropriate patients for care management.


• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
