Job summary

Cengage is seeking a sales professional to engage K-12 districts with digital solutions, aiming to surpass revenue targets and expand market presence. You will work with district leaders to demonstrate how Cengage resources can boost student achievement, while building a strong pipeline and strategic territory plan.

Maintain a home office with hours aligned to school schedules, and leverage relationships with schools or districts to drive growth and adoption of Cengage products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven record of consistent sales and goal achievement.
• Ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Proven track record selling into K-12 schools or districts.

• Prioritizes territory activity to balance new business development with existing account growth.

• Technology proficiency and the ability to converse with customers about online access and how technology can impact the classroom and support district initiatives.

Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.

In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program.

$52,000.00 - $67,600.00 USD Target Variable Compensation:
Individual Target annually
Actual incentive earnings are not guaranteed and may be more or less than the target amount based on achievement of performance goals and the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
