Mercor is seeking an AI Session Annotator (Mexican Spanish) to review recorded sessions where users interact with an AI assistant. The role is remote and contract-based, with compensation ranging from $12 to $18 per hour. Immediate start; high-volume work expected between 26 and 31 Aug.

The ideal candidate will have native Mexican Spanish, precise written Spanish, an Android phone with camera and mic, strong attention to detail, and professional English reading comprehension.

Position: AI Session Annotator (Mexican Spanish)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $12–$18/hour

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Review recorded sessions where users interact with an AI assistant via voice and camera.
• Compare assistant responses with visible video content, identifying hallucinated or fabricated details.
• Score sessions on visual interpretation, accuracy, relevance, and response timing.
• Evaluate the assistant's use of spatial and directional language and its warnings on health, safety, or financial security.
• Write detailed comments supporting each score with evidence from the session.
• Capture conversation turns in the intake form.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or native-level Mexican Spanish , spoken and written.
• Clear, precise written Spanish.
• An Android phone with a working camera and microphone.
• Attention to detail and consistent rubric application.
• Professional English reading comprehension.

Preferred

• Experience in data annotation, linguistic QA, content moderation, or AI model evaluation.
• Training in linguistics, translation, or interpreting.
• Ability to recognize non-Mexican Spanish registers.
