Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) invites applications for part-time faculty to design and deliver instruction across day, evening, and weekend classes. You will assess students, grade work, and maintain an on-campus presence while providing timely communication with students, staff and administrators.

Future teaching assignments are term-by-term and may include fall, spring and summer; postings close yearly and you must re-apply each year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Spanish or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Spanish is required.
• Experience leading at a community college or educational institution is a plus.
• Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a priority.
• Ability to use an online platform for delivery of instruction and to employ technology in teaching will be considered

Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of instruction for day, evening, and weekend classes.
• Responsible for student assessment and grading.
• Maintains adequate on-campus presence.
• Provides timely communication with students, staff, and administrators of the College.
