Job summary

Valor Protection Safety Agency is seeking an Event Safety Officer to join our Auxiliary Event Staffing Team. Officers will be deployed on an as-needed basis to support security operations at events in Spalding County, with Sunday–Saturday shifts and open availability preferred.

This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, professional, and comfortable in fast-paced environments, working alongside supervisors and security personnel to maintain safety and order for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and situational awareness.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to event sites.
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain before first assignment.
• Access to a cell phone and email for scheduling updates.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence at assigned event locations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas.
• Assist with access control, credential checks, and guest support.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Respond to incidents or emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members, and event staff.
• Follow site-specific post orders and safety procedures.
• Complete incident reports or event logs when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
