Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Spaceport Operations Specialist to lead housing accommodations, transportation, and campus amenities. You will develop customer service strategies, train teams, and ensure high living standards for Spaceport Village across multiple facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality/operations, strong communication, and the ability to manage vendors, schedules, and onboarding. Willingness to travel and relocate to Starbase, Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within the hospitality or operations industry.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Spaceport Village Operations including leasing/ housing, transportation, amenities, and events.
• Monitor quality and consistency of Spaceport operations by enforcing standards and inspecting areas.
• Train staff on customer service and problem resolution.
• Enforce proper safety practices with staff and leads.
• Coordinate and enhance time management for team.
• Monitor financial activities for Spaceport Operations driving revenue and reducing costs.
• Create and maintain in-person and online training materials.
• Oversee performance management for Spaceport Operations staff.
• Assist in project implementation for Starbase Village improvements.
• Provide campus-wide reporting on spend, ticketing, and metrics.
