Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Spaceport Operations Technician (Experiences) to manage Starbase social spaces, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness. You’ll oversee inventory, coordinate with the Experience team, and support events with setup and breakdown, while driving continuous improvements in presentation and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Experience in custodial, facilities maintenance, or operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Spaceport social spaces ensuring cleanliness and guest-ready presentation.
• Inspect and submit maintenance requests to keep spaces at high standards.
• Implement at least one major enhancement per quarter in aesthetics, function, or operations.
• Support events by setting up/tearing down equipment and maintaining cleanliness.
• Keep storage and supply areas organized; coordinate inventory with Experience team.
• Report task completion and inventory usage daily via reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Facilities and Housekeeping to address maintenance or service needs.
• Lead by example with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members to foster accountability.
