L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the IPF at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration of critical facility systems in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment, ensuring safe and reliable spacecraft processing.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and emergency response on facility equipment including boilers, dehumidifiers, chillers, pumps, pneumatic systems, electrical panels, and lighting.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair cleanroom-related equipment including HVAC units, HEPA filters, desiccant dryers, and digital control systems.
• Maintain records and documentation such as equipment logs and work orders; ensure compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 facility readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to meet customer requirements and provide technical updates.

Education
