Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Aerospace Software and Simulation Engineer to join the Vehicle Systems Software Department (VSSD). You will test software embedded in launch vehicles and spacecraft, and contribute to real-time simulations and hardware-in-the-loop setups.

The role requires a STEM degree, 0–1 year experience, Python/Java/C/C++, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; willingness to travel ~10% domestically, with on-site work at our El Segundo

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or related degree completed within last 12 months.
• 0-1 year of industry work experience.
• Experience in aerospace systems or flight software modeling and simulation.
• Experience providing technical support in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Knowledge of dynamics, control systems, or modeling & simulation.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, C/C++.
• Familiar with Linux/Unix and version control systems.
• Willing to travel ~10% domestically.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities
