Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Entry-Level Shipping & Receiving Technician I to support NASA-related operations at the Houston site. You will inspect incoming materials, log items, package shipments, and ensure accuracy and safety under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with shipping/receiving processes, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Onsite facilities include an cafeteria and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass defensive driving course.
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material for condition, identification, quantity and PO compliance.
• Record or log items received or shipped in the database or paper records.
• Identify flight-oriented incoming material and notify QA.
• Package items to prevent damage during shipping or transport.
• Affix identifying tags to equipment following procedures.
• Maintain the work area in a neat, safe condition.
• Transport materials, documents, and mail as requested.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Lead or escort subcontractors when needed.
• Perform related duties as required.
