ispaceUS, based in Englewood, Colorado, seeks an Electrical Test Engineer to develop and execute testing strategies ensuring performance, durability, and long-term reliability of spaceflight hardware. You will work across hardware, software, manufacturing, and quality teams to automate testing and identify failures before launch.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in C++, Python, LabVIEW, and Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years electrical test engineering experience
• Experience with test software: C++, Python, LabVIEW, Simulink
• Knowledge of ISO, AS9100 and quality control standards
• Ability to work in a team and drive process improvements
• Strong communication and liaison skills
• Experience with quality processes and continuous improvement
• Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings and parts lists

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability test strategies for product and subcomponents
• Design and execute environmental, RF, and electrical testing techniques
• Collaborate with design teams on modifications, repairs, calibrations and maintenance of test equipment
• Write test programs to exercise product functionality under varying conditions
• Automate reliability testing and reporting using visualization techniques
• Collaborate with hardware, software and network engineering teams to improve reliability
• Define ongoing reliability of testing strategies to monitor process health
• Interpret drawings and documentation to guide installations and upgrades
• Participate in team meetings; provide on-site technical assistance during maintenance and testing
