Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a technician to assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for spaceflight systems. You will work from schematics and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and fault isolation in both lab and manufacturing environments.

The role emphasizes soldering, board work, and wiring of Flight-grade Avionics, with an expected 40-hour work week and potential overtime to support launch schedules. A strong emphasis on safety and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.
  • Familiarity with ESD/ EPA controls and tool accountability.
  • Proficient with basic electronics test equipment and soldering.
  • Experience assembling and testing electrical/mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

  • Build components and assemblies for diverse programs across Blue Origin facilities.
  • Assist with assembly updates by coordinating with engineering for best practices.
  • Provide input on manufacturing improvements and changes.
  • Support internal and external customers across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Prioritize safety, teamwork, and quality to enable spaceflight.
