Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in spacecraft thermal systems or similar thermal systems.
• Proficiency with thermal analysis tools such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, and Thermica.
• U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility required.
• 100% onsite work at one of the designated locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft thermal design and analysis at board, component, subsystem, and system levels.
• Develop thermal models to predict loads, margins, and environmental impacts.
• Evaluate passive and active thermal control solutions to maintain operating temperatures.
• Present results to program managers, customers, and sponsors.
• Support thermal verification testing and data reduction.
• Develop and enhance engineering tools for thermal design and post-processing.
