Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or other relevant fields.
• 1+ years of experience in design, development, analysis, testing, and/or operation of spacecraft thermal systems.
• 1+ years of experience with thermal analysis tools (Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, Thermica).
• Must be able to obtain US Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft thermal design and analyses at board, component, subsystem, and system level.
• Develop thermal models to predict loads, impacts, and temperature margins for design support.
• Brief design/analysis materials to program managers, customers, and sponsors.
• Identify materials, processes, and facilities to achieve qualified thermal design and operation.
• Support thermal verification testing including test design, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
• Assist in proposal and business development efforts.
