Astro Digital seeks Spacecraft Systems Engineers to join our Littleton, CO team. You will help develop budgets, define requirements, and drive verification while working hands-on with flight hardware. You will contribute to civil, commercial, and defense programs across our space systems portfolio.

The role emphasizes leading spacecraft mission development, creating interface specs, and coordinating with engineering, production, and operations to ensure successful on-orbit operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in aerospace/satellite development from design to on-orbit operations.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems: attitude control, power, comms, data handling, thermal control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance budgets for vehicle systems.
• Define system requirements and verification processes.
• Lead the technical development of spacecraft missions.
• Collaborate with program management and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Create interface specifications, CONOPS, and design documentation.
