The Structural Analyst will join a small, collaborative team to analyze launch, landing, and maneuvering loads, pressure containment, and thermal‑mechanical stresses for defense and space applications. Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Must meet the definition of a U.S. person per ITAR.
• Strong understanding of engineering mechanics (statics & strength of materials).
• Experience with structural analysis tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar).
• Experience in test planning, execution, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic mechanical design and structural analyses for aerospace applications at component, subsystem, and system levels.
• Provide design recommendations aligned with manufacturability requirements.
• Develop test plans and support test execution and data interpretation.
• Review, prepare, and release technical documentation with accuracy and clarity.
• Evaluate impact of changes on cost, schedule, and performance and communicate impacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
• Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates and address concerns.
• Support Sales and Marketing in proposals and customer engagement.
