Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Simulation Engineer to support a U.S. Government space program involving NASA's Orion MPCV and Artemis missions.

You will develop, integrate, test, and sustain high-fidelity spacecraft simulations using C++ and Python in a Linux environment, on-site in Littleton, CO or Houston, TX. The role requires hands-on 6-DoF simulation, full software lifecycle experience, and collaboration with engineers, government customers, and test labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of five years supporting spacecraft programs.
• Experience in C++ and Python development across the full software lifecycle.
• Experience with real-time 6-DoF simulation and Linux environments.
• Experience with Perforce or similar version-control systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace concepts and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Perform docking ground software systems engineering for Orion MPCV and Artemis missions.
• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain simulation software in C++ and Python.
• Create and execute unit, functional, integration, and system tests for simulation software.
• Support real-time 6-DoF simulation development and integration with test labs and ground systems.
• Collaborate across systems, software, test, and government teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain requirements traceability and develop user interfaces for testers and engineers.
• Utilize Perforce for configuration management and version control.
