SPACE SYSTEMS
Rocket Lab’s Space Systems team is responsible for every satellite and satellite component made by Rocket Lab: from complete satellites destined for missions to the Moon and Mars, to the individual components and subsystems that make up a satellite like solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels and star trackers, separation systems, radios, and more.
SENIOR SPACECRAFT MECHANICAL ENGINEER I/II
We are currently seeking a Senior Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer I/II to join our space vehicle design team based out of Long Beach, CA. This team supports our Space Systems division, and leads cutting-edge programs for civil, commercial, and defense customers. Mechanical engineers are responsible for developing high performance and lightweight satellite deployment systems, mechanisms, and satellite bus configurations for our customers. They also work hands-on with flight hardware, and drive the technical development of our Space Systems missions.
(Please note: this position can be hired at the Senior Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer I or Senior Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer II level)
