This position is onsite in California, emphasizing collaboration across various engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience designing, building, and testing flight hardware in the space industry.
• Demonstrated experience executing structural or environmental tests.
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine spacecraft component and subsystem mechanical designs.
• Perform stress and dynamic analyses to support structural designs.
• Create and maintain build procedures for mechanical hardware.
• Execute and support environmental test campaigns.

CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)

Designing flight hardware

Strong documentation skills

Good communication skills

Hands-on hardware build experience

Education
