Job summary

The ideal candidate will engage in hands-on design and analysis, contribute to various aspects of the product lifecycle, and collaborate cross-functionally. Qualified applicants should have 5+ years of experience and a relevant engineering degree, along with proficiency in CAD and a robust understanding of documentation processes. This role offers a salary range of $160,000 - $184,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the space industry or similar fields.
• Proficiency in CAD for component and assembly design.
• Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and ECO processes.
• Ability to author build procedures and technical reports.
• Hands-on experience with hardware builds.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine spacecraft mechanical designs.
• Perform stress and dynamic analyses to inform designs.
• Support technicians during assembly and integration.
• Create engineering drawings and maintain configuration control.
• Develop component and subsystem-level test plans.
