Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. seeks a Mechanical Engineer – Deployable Radiators to own the radiator panels from concept to flight, ensuring loads, deployment, and thermal integration are robust.

You will collaborate across thermal, structures, manufacturing, propulsion, power, avionics, and software teams to deliver a fully integrated radiator solution for on-orbit cooling. You will design deployment mechanisms, analyze kinematics, validate with ground testbeds, and drive testing toward qualification,

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years designing and analyzing lightweight aerospace structures.
• Strong fundamentals in strength, stiffness, buckling, joints.

Responsibilities

• Own structural design of deployable radiator panels from concept to flight.
• Perform structural analysis across full mission profile including launch loads.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing and work with suppliers for scalable production.
