Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) seeks an ORION Spacecraft Technician Mix Crib, Associate, 2nd Shift at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The role supports mechanical/assembly teams with consumables, mixes aerospace chemicals, and manages inventories and ARs to ensure timely delivery.

Candidate should have a high school diploma with specialized technical training equivalent to an Associate degree and 0–2+ years of experience; U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
• Strong mechanical aptitude or experience supporting mechanical/assembly teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix aerospace chemicals.
• Maintain inventory control for production consumables across multiple LM locations.
• Create and manage acquisition requests (ARs) for consumables and replacement items.
• Track orders and maintain a database of item status for end-users, ensuring visibility and timely delivery.
• Support Mechanical and Assembly teams with required consumables and equipment.
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot databases and automated storage systems used to dispense or track consumables.
• Perform physical material handling including lifting, stocking, and organizing items on shelves.
