PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Goleta, CA is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support fabrication, assembly, testing, and production of spacecraft components.

You will work with engineers, precision materials, and equipment to build spacecraft structures, solar arrays, reflectors, and other satellite systems. You will fabricate assemblies, test prototypes, analyze data, and contribute to safe, quality-driven manufacturing.

Competenze

• Requires a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years of related education/experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings/schematics.
• Familiar with common hand tools and torque concepts.
• Able to use Microsoft Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.

Mansioni

• Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and aerospace assemblies.
• Set up and test prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Analyze test data and recommend modifications to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers on development, testing, and fabrication.
• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and rework/quality testing.
• Use programs to collect operating data and adjust products or equipment accordingly.
• Document adhesive usage, traceability, pot life, and out-time controls.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and shop planning documents.
