Job summary

Rocket Lab's Space Systems division in Long Beach, CA seeks an Integration & Test Engineer I to lead spacecraft integration and testing across development stages. You will define system requirements, verification plans, and maintain environmental test rigs for life‑cycle testing.

The role requires a bachelor’s in an engineering field, hands‑on aerospace experience, and proficiency in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB. ITAR and on‑site work apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, aerospace, or other engineering degree.
• Proficiency with C, C++, Python, or MATLAB; and Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience writing technical documentation such as procedures, reports, and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own integration and test campaigns at various levels of spacecraft development.
• Define systems requirements, verification and validation plans.
• Develop acceptance, qualification, and R&D test plans for spacecraft systems.
• Operate environmental test systems (Vibe, TVAC, Thermal, EMI).
• Maintain gear and facilities for ground support equipment.
