Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering (B.S./M.S./Ph.D.).
• Interest in learning about spacecraft systems and subsystems.
• Familiar with power and data transmission concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist harness design team on flight and test harnessing.
• Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings for spacecraft harnessing.
• Coordinate interfaces between subsystems with cross-functional teams.
• Use CAD to route harnessing in 3D.
• Apply EE fundamentals to select design components based on voltage, power, freq, data-rate.
• Assist production to fabricate in-house cables.
