Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks an experienced Electrical Harness Designer to join its Lunar Permanence team responsible for developing innovative Blue Moon landers. You'll design electrical harnesses and create detailed assembly drawings that will enhance safe and repeatable spaceflight.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in a relevant field and over five years of experience in the aerospace industry with strong CAD skills. Join us in building sustainable infrastructure for space exploration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing Wire Harnesses for the Aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with existing applicable harness standards: IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4.
• Strong electrical/mechanical design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design of electrical harnesses for power distribution and communication.
• Create wiring diagrams utilizing Zuken E3 and harness detail drawings.
• Support the assembly and testing of cables and harnesses.
