You will be a key contributor within the Structures and Mechanisms group and collaborate closely with Electrical and Integration & Test (I&T) teams. This position is designed for both entry-level candidates who are eager to develop their technical skills and experienced technicians ready to lead complex builds and mentor others.

As our manufacturing operations expand in Colorado, technicians will have opportunities to support spacecraft from initial build through final integration, and to shape manufacturing standards and processes as we scale production.

  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly, tuning/troubleshoot assemblies, alignment checks, perform calibration and part modification as directed.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, written or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation- build, inventory, reports, etc. in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide test support ranging from build/test fixtures, small components, sub-assemblies to entire spacecraft.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma, plus 2 years or more related experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and small assemblies.
  • Familiarity with mechanical/electronic assemblies, cabling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Basic math and general computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • S. Citizenship or Green Card holder required due to export control requirements.

Desired

  • Experience with composite components and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with MES platforms and electronic documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of metrology systems such as Romer Arm or other CMM tools.
  • J-Standard Certification: IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Experience with cleanroom practices, torque tools, and hardware integration in a flight environment.
  • Background in high-reliability manufacturing environments

The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
